Palak Paneer Recipe – A Tasty and Nutritious Indian Recipe

Blanch the Spinach:

In a pot of boiling water, blanch the chopped spinach leaves for about 2 minutes. Drain the spinach and immediately put it in a bowl of ice cold water. This process helps in retaining the vibrant green color of the spinach and prevents overcooking. Once cooled, strain the spinach again and blend it into a smooth puree. Cancel.

Fry Paneer:

Heat one tablespoon oil or ghee in a non-stick pan on a medium flame. –

Include Spinach Puree:

Now add the mixed spinach puree to the pan and mix everything together. Allow the mixture to cook on medium-low heat for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Optional: Add fresh cream or yogurt:

Palak paneer can be made using fresh cream or plain yogurt for a creamier texture. 2 more minutes should be added after a thorough stirring.

Add paneer pieces:

Carefully add the fried paneer pieces to the spinach mixture. Mix them gently, making sure the cheese is coated in the delicious sauce.

Sprinkle Garam Masala:
